On October, 27th, PFF hosted FILM&FEAST, a celebration and fundraiser to benefit the people we serve. With the creative help of Brontide Labs, we spent the previous 5 months making a film about the lives of 16 very real people served by PFF. This party was planned to celebrate the premiere of these special stories and the people in them.
Each of the sixteen “stars” of the film were given a corsage as soon as they arrived. They greeted people, enjoyed live music by local trio, Pit of Fashion, drank fancy Mocktails, and ate delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by McKale’s Catering. Then, it was showtime!
The stars had front-row seating to the premiere of the movie all about their lives. It was a special treat to watch them watch themselves! Once it was finished, the stars formed a reception line in the lobby and the audience went through and collected autographs on their programs from each person. The smiles were electric and the pride was visible. It was truly a magical party!
